About Christy Mullen
When it comes to being fit, feeling good, and looking your best, I like to think there is a unique science behind finding just the right combination. The statement has been made, “You can’t out-train a bad diet,” and that is absolutely true. If you are putting hours in at the gym only to go home and feast on cheeseburgers and French fries every day, the only thing that is going to show is your feasting. But, if you are able to find the balance between exercising hard and eating well, then you’ll be able to see the benefits of your efforts.
That’s where I come in.Hi, I’m Christy Mullen! I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach located in Austin, Texas, and I make it my mission to help people just like you find that balance. You see, I’ve been there, too. In the throes of wanting to eat right and exercise hard but not knowing exactly how to do either of those things.
This passion, though, motivated me to complete my education and certification as a nutritionist and personal trainer so that I could help others just like me.I know organizing meal plans and sticking to a workout regimen day in and day out can be daunting, by yourself that is. When you have an effective support system, though, it is all much easier.
I’m here to be your support, to offer you regular tips for eating well and exercising effectively so that you can feel good and look good! As a certified trainer and nutrition expert, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a number of individuals and in a variety of capacities. Most recently, I received accolades for excellence in balanced nutritional planning.
One of my proudest moments, though, was being named a top 25 candidate for leading personal trainers in the area.It’s not the recognition that I work for, though. It is changing the lives of people just like me. I understand what it’s like to be lost in the world of fitness and nutrition, and I try to connect with my clients on a personal basis. Just the other day, one of my client’s told me, “I thought when I found a trainer and nutritionist I’d have to be satisfied with someone who would tell me everything that I was doing wrong. But, Christy, you’ve helped me figure out what I was already doing right and what I still needed to do to be even better. Your coaching has helped me get in the best shape of my life.”With every client, that is my goal – to navigate the path of health and wellness together, so that getting healthy is easy and fun.
